North-West Europe
3rd FUSIONS North-West Regional Platform Meeting

The North West Europe Regional Platform meeting took place in Neuilly, near Paris, on May 26th. The meeting provided an overview of FUSIONS activities and progress and presented examples of best practices from French stakeholders. Two consultation sessions on food waste quantification issues and food waste policy were also organised.

Southern Europe
3rd FUSIONS Southern Regional Platform Meeting
22 May 2015, Bologna, Italy
FUSIONS 3rd regional platform meeting for Southern Europe was held in Bologna on 22nd May 2015. In addition to providing an overview of the project activities and progresses, the meeting focused on the latest news about food waste research and presented many examples of best practices and case histories from Italian and international stakeholders. The participants were representative of a good mix of enterprises and organisations, both from private and public sector and also from the research area. The day was organised in such a way to allow for both theoretical input and hints from concrete expériences.

3rd FUSIONS Central Europe Regional Platform Meeting
This year, the FUSIONS Central Europe RPM focused on the following themes:
- Relationship between social innovation and food donations
- Policy measures to stimulate social innovation scaling up food donations
- Food waste quantification and data collection
- Social Innovations & FUSIONS Feasability Studies
