Since 2008, Russian-born Selina Juul managed to become Denmark's leading expert on food waste, putting food waste on the agenda in numerous Danish and international articles, radio and TV shows and conferences - among them TEDx. She participates in the waste prevention campaign under the Advisory Board of the Danish EPA and advises the Danish Ministry of Environment on food waste. Since 2010, Selina Juul wrote 90+ opinion-editorials and articles on food waste in Danish and international newspapers and magazines - among them three opinion-editorials co-written with three Ministers. Selina Juul is a columnist in the second largest Danish national newspaper Jyllands-Posten. Selina Juul is also a winner of Junior Chamber International Denmark's The Outstanding Young Person Award and receiver of Cross of Merit Pro Utilitate Hominum of Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller, for her fight against food waste.
