Silvia supports UNIBO activities. Silvia has two PhDs: one in International Cooperation and Sustainable Development Policies and another one is Agricultural and Food Policies. She has been consultant for WMO, the World Meteorological Organization of the United Nations and has carried out applied researches in Asia and Europe. Her research interests include food policy with particular attention in food waste and losses, social aspects of agro-food and ICTs for rural development.
