ANATOLIKI s.a., Development Agency of Eastern Thessaloniki’s Local Authorities, manages and implements the development initiatives that contribute to incorporating innovative methods in the developing process and to create new standards for the development/implementation of new productive initiatives in the region. Having as shareholders municipalities ANATOLIKI has important experience on issues of waste collection and disposal, sampling and sorting procedures. More specifically it has implemented the following projects regarding Waste Management: • Creation of the Prefectural Framework concerning the management of solid waste in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, according to the E.U. Directives 91/156 and 94/62. • Environmental & Preliminary Studies of Sanitary Landfill of Thessaloniki Prefecture • Solid Waste Management Plans of Eastern Thessaloniki. • Recycling Plan for East Thessaloniki. Provision of administrative, technical support and coordination.
