In FUSIONS Socratis provides general supervision of the implementation and management of the project and more specifically is responsible for the coordination of the South Europe Regional Platform. He is a Chemical Engineer, MSc in Environmental Planning and Infrastructure, Director of Local development Department of ANATOLIKI sa. He has much experience in Solid Waste Management issues and local and regional development and innovation management. He is also a member of the National assembly of the Technical Chamber of Greece and has been in charge of Ecology and Environmental Protection issues for the last 10 years. He is also Deputy Mayor and Executive Director of Culture and athletics of Thermi Municipality.
